UX & UI Design

Having worked with both the UX and UI part of design, I am passionate about creating user-centered, engaging, and intuitive digital experiences. I have experience conducting user tests, interviews, and questionnaires to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. In addition to evaluations, I love prototyping and designing applications with web accessibility in mind. Always having the "how can we make this error-proof?" thought in the back of my mind. I always strive to prioritize the user experience in every project I work on.

Säker Stämma - AI-driven Research & Design

Keywords: AI, Prompting, Prototyping

Säker Stämma app

Background

This project was the main deliverable for the course “AI and Prompt Design for UX/UI Designers” at Stockholm Technical Institute (Autumn 2024). The challenge focused on applying AI meaningfully within a UX workflow while addressing a problem. We chose a current threat: AI-generated voice scams. The aim was to create a solution that feels both technically reliable and emotionally calming. Collaboration with Eva Hildebrandt.

Discovery & Research

The process began with an exploration of voice-cloning scams through secondary research and AI-assisted analysis, helping to identify vulnerable user groups, emotional triggers, and opportunity areas. FigJam brainstorming, Affinity Mapping, and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity supported the clustering of patterns, behaviours, and potential solution directions. A guiding principle quickly emerged: protection without panic.

Ideation & Concept Development

Customer Value Scene

Customer Value Scene

The concept evolved into an AI-powered safety layer integrated directly into mobile operators. SäkerStämma analyses ongoing calls and delivers calm, real-time warnings when fraud is suspected, giving users simple, safe options. Ethical considerations—GDPR, data minimisation, and transparent communication—shaped the design strategy. Journey mapping helped illustrate emotional peaks and the moments where reassurance and clarity matter most.

Low-fidelity wireframes focused on reducing cognitive load through large touch targets, minimal actions, and intuitive hierarchy. Visual exploration with Midjourney, Recraft, and Photoshop AI resulted in a calm, trustworthy identity tailored to users with varying levels of tech confidence. Interactive prototypes were built in Uizard, Figma, and Protopie, with AI accelerating iteration across flows, microcopy, and interaction patterns.

Testing, Accessibility & Outcome

Human Views

User testing and thematic analysis, supported by AI, highlighted the need for shorter text, clearer iconography, stronger privacy reassurance, and softer warning language. Accessibility reviews with Stark informed improvements in contrast, spacing, and ALT-text. SäkerStämma ultimately became a calm, intuitive safety layer that supports users during emotionally stressful moments. The project demonstrates how AI can enhance research, ideation, and iteration, while human-centered design ensures clarity, empathy, and trust.

Prototyping | Retrotips Stockholm

Keywords: Prototyping, Adobe XD, UI

For this project, I designed prototypes for a retro-themed travel guide to Stockholm, focusing on retro boutiques and shops. The goal was to create an attractive and engaging guide to help draw tourists to the city. To do this, I brainstormed ideas, created sitemaps and wireframes, and developed interactive high-fidelity prototypes. Through this process, I was able to bring my vision to life and create a guide that would appeal to travelers looking for a unique and nostalgicically chic experience in Stockholm.

Recycling Habits - Thesis Work

Keywords: Prototyping, User Research, Evaluations, Accessibility

(2020-2021) As part of my thesis research, I developed a visualization prototype that investigates the topic of recycling habits and how they can be improved. One of the most fascinating aspects of this project was exploring people's intuitive choices when it comes to recycling and finding ways to create a digital solution that supports and enhances those choices. The goal of this research was to not only understand the motivations behind recycling habits, but also to identify ways to encourage more sustainable behavior and make a positive impact on the environment. It was a unique and rewarding project that allowed me to combine my interests in design and sustainability in a meaningful way.

recyling-habits

The study aimed to understand why Swedish households mis-sort recyclables and design new waste management processes to change habits. It found motivation, knowledge gaps, and priorities as key factors. Workshops led to a proposed tool to improve recycling habits. Intuitive sorting was identified as a main cause of mis-sorting. The designed prototype aims to automate sorting and provide feedback on household contributions to recycling.

Keywords: Prototyping, User Research, Accessibility

(2018) As part of a project in 2018, I developed an interactive simulation prototype for ultra runners using the prototyping tool Axure. Through this process, I gained my first experience in creating lo-fi to hi-fi prototypes and testing them on users to gather valuable feedback. In addition to the technical aspects of the project, I also had the opportunity to design the graphic profile and logo for the app. Overall, it was a challenging but rewarding project that sparked my first interest in interaction design.

Branding | Spiffing Guppies

Keywords: Branding, Adobe Illustrator, Logotype

(2021) I had the pleasure of creating a totally rad brand for the one and only Spiffing Guppies, the greatest (made-up) indie pop band to grace the earth. From the logo to the poster, shirt, and CD cover, I poured my heart and soul into every pixel and brush stroke to bring some serious style to this (imaginary) band. It was a wild and wacky journey, and I can't wait to see where the Spiffing Guppies go next.

Interactive Experiences

Here I display coded projects like websites and games

saradigne.se

Keywords: HTML, CSS, JS

My favorite part of web development is definitely the front-end - it's where all the magic happens (or at least, where I get to make everything look pretty). I code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I used those skills to build this portfolio site in my spare time. Don't let the simple design fool you - it's all HTML and CSS magic under the hood.

Website & Logo | Södermalms Ungdomsråd

Keywords: Web Design, Coding

(2018) While serving on the youth council Södermalms ungdomsråd, I designed a logo and developed a website for the organization.

Keywords: Brand Identity, Coding, Designing

(2020) For this project, I set out to create a brand concept that could answer some burning questions, like: 1) What makes a brand feel cohesive and consistent? 2) How can we apply these principles to design materials and a platform that caters to our fictitious target group of "migratory birds"? It was a tall order, but I was up for the challenge. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good imaginary bird-themed project?

Game | Dumpster Dive

Keywords: AR, Unity, Interactive

(2019) I worked in a team of three people to illustrate the pressing issue of ocean pollution in a game. Our goal was to create a game that would not only be fun to play, but also educate players about the impacts of pollution on our oceans. The design process was a journey of trial and error, complete with several user tests to ensure that our game was both entertaining and informative. #savetheoceans #gameon

AR Application | Inside

Keywords: AR

(2019) We were excited to collaborate with Dramaten (the Royal Dramatic Theatre) on an innovative interactive AR project. Drawing inspiration from the popular indie game Inside, we created an app that allows users to point their phone at a poster and watch as a scene plays out before their eyes.

Video Projects

Here i display video related projects. I have a strong passion for graphics and have spent a lot of time learning and practicing with various Adobe programs. These include InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects, which I have used in both my education and personal projects. I enjoy tackling projects related to graphic design and video editing, and am always looking to improve my skills in these areas. I am always excited to put my skills to use on new projects to learn.

Short Film | Är du där?

Keywords: Editing, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro

(2018) I worked on a short film together with other people as we delved into the topic of digital media. As an editor, I utilized Premiere Pro and After Effects. The film examined the ways in which digital media can influence the way we interact with others. It was a challenging but rewarding project that allowed me to develop my creative skills and explore the potential of digital storytelling.

Documentary | A City for Women

Keywords: Editing, Filming, Researching

(2017) In 2017, I had the chance to work on a short documentary that examined the theme of urban city planning from a feminist perspective, all set against the backdrop of vibrant and bustling Mumbai. The film explored the ways in which cities are designed and how those design decisions can impact the lives of women and other marginalized communities. It was a powerful and eye-opening project that allowed me to delve into important social and political issues, and experience the unique culture and energy of Mumbai firsthand.
